Checking Account Types:
1. Regular Checking (Non-Interest Bearing)
Our Regular Checking account has no minimum balance requirement but does not earn any
dividends.
No monthly maintenance fees.
2. Money Market Checking
Our Money Market Checking earns dividends based on the following minimum balance requirements:
Balance $2,500 - $24,999
Balance $25,000 and over

3. Business Checking
Our Business Checking account earns dividends when the minimum balance requirement of $2,500 has been met.

Our VISA Check Card is the perfect complement to your checking account. This card serves as an ATM card and a debit card all in one. You can use this card to make cash withdrawals, deposits, transfers and balance inquiries on both your savings and checking account at any ATM where you see the VISA logo.
At the same time, the VISA Check Card also works like a plastic check. When you use your VISA Check Card, purchases are automatically deducted from your checking account. The VISA Check Card is accepted by any merchant displaying the VISA Debit logo.
- Make withdrawals and inquiries at any ATM where you see the VISA logo.
- Avoid ATM fees by using 28,000 Co-Op Network ATMs in the US and Canada.
- Make deposits at any ATM where you see the Plus System logo.
- Make purchases directly from your checking account. The name of the store will print out on your monthly statement to help you keep track of your charges.
- All VISA check card purchase transactions are surcharge-free.
Get Cash Back When Making a Purchase With Your VISA Check Card:
Swipe your VISA Check Card at the card reader (point-of-sale terminal).
Enter your PIN when prompted.
The POS terminal will ask if you would like cash back in addition to your purchase.
Enter the amount of cash back that you would like.
The screen will itemize the amount of your purchase and the amount of cash back and will prompt you for approval.
The sales clerk's screen will see your requested cash back amount and give you cash.

What are the Eligibility Requirements for Star Tech Checking?
You must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident with a valid Social Security number and be at least 18 years old. Otherwise, you may open the account with a joint owner who will be fully responsible for any returned checks and applicable charges. As part of the account opening process, we may or may not obtain information about you from a consumer reporting agency (a "hard pull"). If we do, we may or may not open a Star Tech checking account for you based on that information
